The staff at reception and the porters were exceptionally nice and helpful.

Dinner in the restaurant on the Saturday evening was gorgeous. Waiter was very efficient and advised well on wine choice.
When we arrived, the receptionist did not have our booking under my name - it was under a different name which was bizaare and alarming. We thought a bottle of wine/drink in the bar would have been a nice touch considering it was our wedding anniversary. Also we found it difficult to sleep as there was a lot of noise coming from a nearby bar.

the location was the best and top, adjacent to the latin quarter and the bus stop for the bus to shannon airport and many shops and sights, in a very nice area. the room was air conditioned and brand-new with an astonishing view of the park.

Excellent value- we got a special deal for 26euro for 2 people including breakfast! A hostel would have been more expensive. We are still wondering if it was a mistake!
The decor is looking a little tired for a 4 star.

The staff was kind and accommodating. The location was ideal, right by the Christmas market and easily accessible to local attractions. Parking was problematic, with lengthy waits and limited spaces. The room had a dated feel, and the dining experience was disappointing, particularly the undercooked vegetables in my meals.

The breakfast was tasty and delicious with many options; reasonably priced. The hotel was in a marvellous and stunning location, on the quay.

Luxury, beautifully designed hotel with experienced people and good location right on Eyre square. Well-appointed rooms provided with a big comfy bed, bathroom, as for instance. Public parking outside venue provided. Very pleasant stay, as always.

The room was far too small considering the price of it. The staff could be more friendly. A whole round unenjoyable, cold experience.

Breakfast buffet was excellent and varied.
I was thoroughly disappointed with my stay. The room was in poor repair, with stained ceilings and a broken sink. Even when we requested to change rooms, the second one had heating issues and was just as unkempt, leading to a frustrating stay overall.

1 The staff. 2 The foyer area. The location.
1 Our bedroom was small and probably needs an upgrade. We complained about our room and were offered an upgrade which was slightly better. We declined as we were only staying for one night. However we were of the impression that our complaint was taken very seriously which was gratifying.

The Hotel Meyrick is in a great location, very comfortable and welcoming with the open fire and plenty lounge seating, it has nice helpfull and friendly staff, and car parking available, for Breakfast there was a great variety it was hot and plentyfull and available up till the stated time. the out door Canadian style hot tub on the 5th floor over looking the city and Galway Bay was very relaxing after a wonderfull day exploring the city shops and the walk to nearby Salthill. night life was entertaining with live music in the local pubs and the Courmet Restaurant's had plenty of choice. there was also a nice city walk along the corrib near to the Hotel. the lift was always available. The room had every thing from Hairdryer to kettle to ironing press, fridge and TV. clean crisp linnen, and fresh towels changed the following morning. The Hotel was very easy to find on entering the City, well sign posted and ajacent to Bus and Train station. The spa is also worth a visit. I would highly recomend this Hotel and I am looking forward to returning again in the not too distant future.

friendly, very helpful staff - with one exception. convenient location.
hotels, in my experience, supply bottled water in rooms. It was very disappointing to discover this lack late on the night of our stay. When I went down to the bar seeking water and was charged an exorbitant amount for four small bottles I believe the bar lady was less than helpful. As a result my sister and I resolved not to stay with you again.
